Mike Conover is the CEO and founder of Brightwave, the AI research assistant that generates insightful, trustworthy financial analysis on any subject. Anushka Salinas is a visionary leader in the tech and fashion industries, currently serving as the CEO of Nanit. This high-growth parenting tech company has changed how parents view their babies' wellness through the world's most advanced baby monitor and parenting products.
Before her role at Nanit, Anushka was President & COO at Rent the Runway (RTR), reshaping the $2.4 trillion fashion industry by introducing dynamic ownership models and empowering women to embrace their best selves every day. During her tenure at RTR, Anushka was instrumental in overseeing all operational facets of the company, contributing significantly to its remarkable growth and successful IPO in October 2021. She built Rent the Runway’s first machine learning team in 2017 and dozens of algorithms that drove improvements to the business economics and customer experience at scale. With 11 years of experience at RTR spanning two distinct periods, Anushka's leadership played a pivotal role in shaping the company's trajectory.
Before her tenure at RTR, Anushka honed her business management and finance expertise at Hudson's Bay Company, where she efficiently managed a $300 million profit and loss (P&L) portfolio. Additionally, her tenure at Resonance Companies saw her spearheading commerce initiatives for an early-stage supply chain and fashion startup, further showcasing her versatility and strategic acumen in diverse business environments. Anushka received her BA from the University of Pennsylvania cum laude and MBA from Columbia Business School. She resides in New York City with her husband and sons, Shayan and Raphael.
